You didn't know when you asked, but today I celebrated 19 years of following Jesus.
What a gift from God.
A gift of faith to you. Raised to life in Christ, the sinful man, now dead and buried in those waters.
A gift of love to me. The beautiful God who weaves His purpose into our lives, reminding me that he has carried me these nineteen years for His glory.
He carried a broken, silly eighteen year-old girl through the days so she could one day raise a sweet baby boy.
He carries us still.
I was there the day you were given the gift of life. I was there the day you were given new life.
There are many gifts in the days ahead.
But today, I cherish the one God has given me in you.
